IDLE HANDS
This new teenage horror comedy is about the relationship of a boy and his hand. Hey keep those thoughts clean. It is not what you think.
Comedy/Horror
Synopsis: What happens when a the laziest boy in the world, who does nothing but sit, drink and smoke pot. Well he gets possessed by a spirit who just happens to be looking for those qualifications. Anton wakes up to his dead parents after his usual stupor. He goes off to meet with his friends to try and piece together clues which lead to the possibility that he may be responsible. It seems his right hand has a life of it's own and it seems to like to take the life of others.

While this is going on Debi, played by Vivica Fox (who is absolutely hokey in this film), is racing across the country following the trail of this nasty spirit. She eventually gets to the high school where things start coming to a head or is it hand. By this time Anton has cut off his hand and is on the run from the police and the disembodied hand who decides to take his girlfriend to hell for revenge. Okay, okay it gets a little silly but it is also funny in a gruesome way. There are some excellent scenes that are very reminiscent of AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON

This is a pretty good film, not a classic but an interesting film with lots of funny scenes and one excellent topless scene involving a pair and three hands. It is well worth the money so if you have the time to spend on a fun film and are not expecting a classic... go for it.
