 Sci-Fi Action Thriller SYNOPSIS: Here we go another buddy action film. Ten years later the scientist tries to protect his creation from a now "out to get revenge on the world" ex-officer. Okay get the picture. The story is not to deep here so you can followit easy. It starts in a small town in Montana where two young men, CUBA GOODING JR. and SKEET ULRIC end up in the wrong place at the wrong time and become embroiled in a chase to save the world and their butts. THe rest of the film is really nothing more than a chase film. It is a good chase film, though, with lots of laughs, action, and hair-raising close calls. There some great scenes as in the ride down the hillside in a boat. The ending was in my estimation fairly predictable but the effects at the end were excellent. If you like this type of film then you should not miss it. If you want substance and a plot driven script, then you should miss it. I enjoyed, though, and fun watching it because I received what I was expecting and I was not let down in the least. |
