Of course if we didn't have conflict in a stroy it could end up being a pretty dull movie. The glitch in the works is that Harper(Taye Diggs) has written a book that he is trying to keep away from everyone until after the wedding. it is based on the lives and secrets of his friends whom he has tried to disguise in the novel. Nope...uh uh...no such luck. One of the friends gets an advance copy and passes it on to eventual disasterous consequences in the lifes of some of the friends. We get to sit back and watch how the book affects all their lives. Some cope, some do not and some want to just kill him. Lies told between friends come out to bite them in the ass and things do get physical. We hav eto wait to see how things work out. Does real friendship manage to win at the end? Do some break up in the wake of the revelations? Are new loves formed? Heck, will the wedding even go off??? Well spend the money and go find out yourself. I guarantee that if you like good movies, you will love THE BEST MAN. If all you love are action films then skip this one. If you want to take a date to a film that will make her happy, then take her to this movie. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
