Robert De Niro plays Walt Koontz, is a well respected man who was a hero cop. Now he is a security guard who loves to go out and tango. He goes to a fancy dance hall that is of course also a brothel. Here he has a partner who he dances with and also beds. His neighbours include homosexuals and drag queens whom he dislikes immensely as he is homophobic. While trying to help save a women in his building, he suffers a stroke and becomes partially paralyzed. His vocal cords end up being paralyzed as well.
![]() They film tough it has quite a few faults does show that when people stop to communicate they can find much in common even when the differences seem to be unsurmountable. The film is well acted and moves along quickly. He it even has the hooker with a heart, but I didn't even discuss her and I won't because that way you can look forward to it. |
