 THE BLACK MASK Action It quickly becomes apparent where and why the Warchoski Brothers got their style for THE MATRIX. Long flowing coats move in slow motion as does the martial art action. THE BLACK MASK has a interesting style of story telling that compliments the interesting camera movements and angles. This is simply a movie about action.. violent, artistic and of course very comic bookish. Who cares? You just sit there amazed at what these Hong Kong artists turn out. The story is not deep but the action certainly is. if you like martial arts action then don't pass this up, you will not be disappointed. The story is about super soldiers who are out to kill Black Mask who was once one of theirs until he had enough and left; now he has to fight to save his new friends. That is all you need to know.
